The MICROSPACE® PC104 MSMPS104A expansion card has 5Vand 12V outputs which are generated from an 8-20V input voltage range using an efficient voltage regulator switch. This card fulfills the safety regulations for vehicles. A very effective, flat heat pipe is used for cooling. The power supply can be turned on and off using a remote function (i.e., ignition signal).
